Bred by F. Harmon Saville (1924-1997) (United States, 1995).
Introduced in United States by Nor' East Miniature Roses in 1996 as 'Sparks'.
Class:
Miniature.  
Bloom:
Red.  None / no fragrance.  18 to 24 petals.  Average diameter 1.25".  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  
Habit:
Upright.  

Height: 18" to 2' (45 to 60cm).  Width: up to 2' (up to 60cm).
Growing:
USDA zone 7b and warmer.  Hardy.  very vigorous.  Disease susceptibility: disease resistant.  Spring Pruning: Remove old canes and dead or diseased wood and cut back canes that cross. In warmer climates, cut back the remaining canes by about one-third. In colder areas, you'll probably find you'll have to prune a little more than that.  Requires spring freeze protection (see glossary - Spring freeze protection) .
