Introduced in France by Jean-Marie Gaujard in 1928 as 'Jules Gaujard'.
Introduced in Australia by Hazlewood Bros. Pty. Ltd. in 1930 as 'Jules Gaujard'.

Pernetiana.  
Bloom:
Orange-red, cherry-red shading.  Mild to strong fragrance.  Very large, double (17-25 petals), borne mostly solitary, cupped, globular bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  Ovoid buds.  
Habit:
Few or no prickles/thorns, upright.  Glossy, light green foliage.  
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).
