Discovered by Pierre Oger (France, 1878).
Introduced in France by Charles-Félix Verdier in 1878 as 'Madame Pierre Oger'.

Bloom:
Blush, rose-pink edges, ages to darker .  Moderate, sweet fragrance.  up to 45 petals.  Average diameter 2.25".  Medium to large, very full (41+ petals), borne mostly solitary, cupped, globular bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  
Habit:
Tall, few or no prickles/thorns, upright.  Light green foliage.  

Height: 39" to 8' (100 to 245cm).  Width: 3' to 4' (90 to 120cm).
Growing:
USDA zone 5b through 10b.  Can be used for cut flower or garden.  Vigorous.  can be trained as a climber.  Disease susceptibility: susceptible to blackspot .
