Origin:
Bred by J. Klettenberg-Londes (Belgium, before 1924).
Introduced in France by Grandes Roseraies du Val de la Loire in 1925 as 'Roi Albert'.
Introduced in Australia by Hazlewood Bros. Pty. Ltd. in 1927 as 'Roi Albert'.
Class:
Hybrid Tea.  
Bloom:
Carmine-pink, silver(y) shading, vermilion shading.  Strong fragrance.  Very large, full (26-40 petals), borne mostly solitary, high-centered, open bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  Large, long, pointed buds.  
Habit:
Upright, well-branched.  

Height: up to 28" (up to 70cm).  
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).  Disease susceptibility: disease resistant.
