‘Satchmo’. This is a new bright red Floribunda with a difference. The petals glow like coals of fire, blending to a slightly darker shade at the margin and the glowing velvety texture of the petals has to be seen to be believed. This variety has caused a great deal of comment at our Auckland Trial grounds and unlike most reds the hotter the climate the better the colour.
