Bred by Rob Somerfield (New Zealand, before 2011).
Introduced in New Zealand by Glenavon Roses Ltd. in 2020.

Class:

Floribunda.

Bloom:

White, light green shading, ages to darker . Double (17-25 petals), cupped bloom form.

Habit:

Medium. Matte foliage.

Doug Grant (Apr 12, 2015) and Hayden Foulds (Apr 26, 2015) both advise that 'SOMpounamu' in 2013 did not receive a Certificate of Merit, but the WFRS People Choice award.
