Notes:
Paeonia delavayi Franch., Bull. Bot. Soc. Fr. 33: 382 (1886).
According to most recent taxonomy, the earlier P. delavayi and P. lutea are combined into the same species P. delavayi. In order to aid in this transition, the references on the species as well as the red-blooming form of the species are combined and shown here, while the yellow-blooming form of the species is found under P. lutea, and the dwarf forms under P. delavayi var. angustiloba.
The description of V. Lemoine & Fils for P. delavayi vera (True P. delavayi) is for P. delavayi var. delavayi f. delavayi (see). It is stated as being distinct from the var. angustiloba which they had commercialized earlier.
