Light pink, salmon-pink shading. Lighter collar. Mild to strong fragrance. Large, double, crown bloom form. Early-to-mid.

Notes:
In years past, Kelway's sometimes (or often) sent out mis-labeled peonies; this may account for 'Pearl', a white variety, being confused with 'Venus', which was flesh pink, as well as other confusions in commerce.
Batchelor's 1911 'Classification of the Peony' confuses things further, as different peony varieties which were confused in commerce in the U.S. were treated as if they were synonyms. See REFERENCES.
