Introduced in United States by Gilbert H. Wild and Son in 1954 as 'Massasoit'.
Class:
Hybrid / Species crosses.  
Bloom:
Dark red.  Yellow anthers.  Moderate fragrance.  Average diameter 5.5".  Medium, single, cupped bloom form.  Late midseason.  
Habit:

Height: up to 30" (up to 75cm).  
Growing:
USDA zone 2a and warmer.

Notes:
