Introduced in France by Pivoines Rivière in 1924 as 'Ville de Lyon'.

Hybrid lactiflora.

Bloom:

Deep pink, silver(y) highlights. Moderate fragrance. Average diameter 6.5". Medium, double, cupped, Japanese (anemone, imperial) bloom form. Midseason.

Habit:

Height: 32" to 35" (80 to 90cm).
