Bred by Prof. Arthur Percy Saunders (United States, before 1953).
Class:
Hybrid Lutea, Tree peony.  
Bloom:
Deep yellow, red flares.  Single to semi-double bloom form.  
Growing:
USDA zone 6b and warmer.  
Patents:
Patent status unknown (to HelpMeFind).
Notes:
Fertile hybrid lutea seedling (cross # 12788) used in breeding. Descends from one of the two seeds found in normally infertile F1 seedlings of P. lutea.
