Discovered by Robert William Tischler (United States, 1989).
Introduced in United States by The Peony Garden of Center Point Iowa in 2003 as 'Dan W.'.
Class:
Hybrid lactiflora.  
Bloom:
Dark red.  Dark red staminoides edged with gold.  Japanese (anemone, imperial) bloom form.  Early-to-mid.  
Habit:

Height: up to 34" (up to 85cm).
