Bred by William J. Seidl (United States, before 2001).
Introduced in New Zealand by Southern Charm Paeonies in 2001 as 'Glowing Embers'.
Class:
Hybrid Lutea.  
Bloom:
Yellow, orange shading.  Single bloom form.

Seed purchased from 1986 onwards and grown from Bill Seidl by Derek Irvine, Timaru, NZ. Registered 2001 by Jane and Trevor Sutherland of Southern Charm Peonies, NZ, as 'Glowing Embers'. Named changed in 2002 to 'Firey Coals' due to duplication.
