Bred by William J. Seidl (United States, before 2001).
Introduced in New Zealand by Southern Charm Paeonies in 2001 as 'Break of Day'.
Class:
Hybrid Lutea.  
Bloom:
Cream, dark purple center, black flares.  Single bloom form.  
Patents:
Patent status unknown (to HelpMeFind).

Notes:
Seed purchased from 1986 onwards and grown from Bill Seidl by Derek Irvine, Timaru, NZ. Registered 2001 by Jane and Trevor Sutherland of Southern Charm Peonies, NZ, as 'Break of Day'. Named changed in 2002 to 'Morning Mist' due to duplication.
