Bred by David Reath (United States, before 1970).
Introduced in United States by Reath's Nursery in 1979 as 'Pink Frost'.
Class:
Hybrid / Species crosses.  
Bloom:
Light pink.  Single, cupped bloom form.  Very early.  
Habit:

Height: up to 3' (up to 90cm).  
Patents:
Patent status unknown (to HelpMeFind).
Notes:
Seed parent was a sibling of 'Ann Cousins', the pollen parent a rich red hybrid of P. macrophylla. Sibling of 'Red Alert'.
First bloomed 1970, registered 1979. Selected and named by Eleanor Reath. Similar to 'Friendship' by Glasscock.
