Discovered by William H. Gratwick III (United States, 1960).
Introduced in Japan by The Chugai Nursery in before 1960 as 'Sea of Tranquility'.
Class:
Hybrid suffruticosa.  
Bloom:
White, light purple flares.  Purple sheath.  Semi-double bloom form.  Late.  
Habit:

Height: 4' to 5' (120 to 150cm).
