Discovered by Maurice Ménard (Canada, 1988).
Introduced in Canada by La Pivoinerie D'Aoust in 2007 as 'George Vorauer'.
Class:
Hybrid lactiflora.  
Bloom:
Dark red.  Average diameter 4".  Small, single bloom form.  Early-to-mid.  
Habit:
Tall, upright.  

Height: up to 43" (up to 110cm).  
Patents:
Patent status unknown (to HelpMeFind).
Notes:
First bloomed before 1997, selected 2002, registered 2007. Named to honour George Vorauer, a passionate peony collector and gardener who was instrumental in leading the effort to restore and expand the historic peony collection at the Central Experimental Farm in Ottawa, Canada.
