Origin:
Bred by Unknown Dutch Breeder (Netherlands, before 1985).
Introduced in United States by Krekler Peony Farm in circa 1985 as 'Dutch Dwarf'.
Class:
Hybrid / Species crosses.  
Bloom:
Fuchsia / magenta.  Moderate fragrance.  Average diameter 2.5".  Small, Japanese (anemone, imperial) bloom form.  Midseason.  
Habit:
Short.  

Height: 10" to 18" (25 to 45cm).  
Growing:
USDA zone 2a and warmer.

Too double to be the the old 'Officinalis cultivar, 'Anemoniflora rosea', but "Anemoniflora rosea in commerce" seems to be the same as 'Dutch Dwarf'.
