R. polyantha nana can be treated like an annual and sown from seed, when it will flowers with small pale pink heads on fifteen-inch plants, only a few months after being sown. It is strictly a novelty and is useless for bedding, but if you want to try it, look in a seedman's catalogue, not a rose growers'.
