Bred by John K. Walden (United States, before 1994).
Introduced in United States by Bear Creek Gardens, Inc. in 2001 as 'Sun Sprinkles'.
Class:
Miniature.  
Bloom:
Deep yellow.  Mild, spice, sweet fragrance.  25 to 30 petals.  Average diameter 2.5".  Medium, very double, borne mostly solitary bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  Pointed, ovoid buds.  
Habit:
Short, compact.  Small, glossy, dark green, leathery foliage.  7 leaflets.  

Height: 18" to 2' (45 to 60cm).  Width: 18" to 20" (45 to 50cm).
Growing:
USDA zone 6b and warmer.  Heat tolerant.  Disease susceptibility: susceptible to blackspot .  Spring Pruning: Remove old canes and dead or diseased wood and cut back canes that cross. In warmer climates, cut back the remaining canes by about one-third. In colder areas, you'll probably find you'll have to prune a little more than that.  Requires spring freeze protection (see glossary - Spring freeze protection) .  Can be grown in the ground or in a container (container requires winter protection).
