June 5, 2022. One year old. Direct from David Austin. Surprisingly healthy- no powdery mildew, slight black spot (she's young though) and will get cercospora spot in autumn. So far I find the blooms slightly scented most of the time. This past Autumn, there were occasions I picked up a moderate, sweet, old rose fragrance. Plant blooms often, but hasn't built much height yet. I'm hoping those roots are getting busy! Acceptable winter hardiness and rebound so far. Z5b/Sunset 41 South Central Michigan
