Check out the ratings on this rose! I've even learned that she's very low on thorns...one of my personal requirements. I've added her to my Spring order with Roses Unlimited, and surely hope she likes being an Oklahoman! Why in the world isn't this rose wildly popular??!

My 'Nahema' is fairly well armed with thorns... they are small and rather thin. It's a great rose and an improvement on 'Heritage', its pollen parent, with more petals that resist shattering better than 'Heritage' does. It has a lovely perfume. It sets hips easily but none of her OP seeds have germinated for me yet, though they have not been in long so far. It is pollen fertile as well. It's not an overly vigorous climber but is well suited to growing against a wall or trellis. Mine does not get sprayed here and it resists most disease until the very end of the season (which is not necessarily a bad thing). It blooms in flushes from spring to autumn here in Tasmania, Australia. I'm going to cross mine with 'Comtess de Labarthe' and 'Safrano' this season to try for healthier shrubby english rose-type plants for warm climates.
