Arvid`s garden,Lista, southwestern coast of Norway, July 2009. This plant was bought many years ago as David Thompson, but its true identity soon revealed itself. It was originally planted in a spot which didn`t at all agree with it and was consequently moved to another spot with the same result. Now in its third place it has got an arche to lean on and seems quite satisfied with that, so everyone is happy. I like this rose, at first bright, red showing the yellow center; then fading. A good rose in my garden. The yellow flower in the background is "Graham Thomas."
