Introduced in Australia by C. H. Halstead in 1899 as 'Reverend Alan Cheales'.

Deep pink. Reverse shaded silvery white. Very large, full (26-40 petals) bloom form. Blooms in flushes throughout the season.

USDA zone 3a through 3b. Vigorous.
