Bred by Alexander Dickson II (1857-1949) (United Kingdom, 1896).
Introduced in Australia by Arthur Yates & Co. Ltd. in 1898 as 'Tom Wood'.

Bloom:
Cherry-red, ages to deep pink .  Strong fragrance.  up to 40 petals.  Average diameter 4".  Very large, full (26-40 petals), cupped bloom form.  Occasional repeat later in the season.  
Habit:
Upright.  

Height: 3' to 4' (90 to 120cm).  
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).
