Origin:
Bred by AndrĂ© Carl (United States, 2013).
Class:
Hybrid Tea.  
Bloom:
Dark purple, ages to violet .  Strong, damask fragrance.  50 to 80 petals.  Average diameter 3.5".  Medium, very full (41+ petals), borne mostly solitary, cupped, cupped-to-flat, old-fashioned bloom form.  Prolific, continuous (perpetual) bloom throughout the season.  Medium buds.  
Habit:
Bushy.  Medium, semi-glossy, medium green foliage.  3 to 5 leaflets.  
Breeder's notes:
So many petals that there are no stamens.

Patent status unknown (to HelpMeFind).
Notes:
Parentage would include either Stephen's Big Purple or The 777 Rose.

Blooms first appear to be the darkest purple imaginable and very velvety. So far camera has not been able to come close to capturing the true color.
