Purple.  Strong, old rose fragrance.  Single (4-8 petals) bloom form.  

Arching.  Medium green foliage.  

Can be used for beds and borders or landscape.  Vigorous.  

Stamens and canes are red, even inside the canes.

Based on some characteristics of the leaves, it is obvious that 'Rosa foliolosa Nutt. ex Torr. & A.Gray' plays a role in the genes of 'Rotes Phänomen'.
