Origin:
Bred by Jean-Pierre Vibert II (France, 1995).
Class:
Hybrid Gallica.  
Bloom:
Violet-red, lighter reverse.  Mild fragrance.  Average diameter 3.5".  Large, very full (41+ petals), in small clusters, flat bloom form.  Once-blooming spring or summer.  
Habit:
Few or no prickles/thorns.  Light green foliage.  
Patents:
Patent status unknown (to HelpMeFind).
Notes:
Dedicated to the troubadour Aimeric de Péguilhan (ca. 1175-1228)
