Rose Tendre Beauté
It is listed in the Wilhelmshöhe nursery catalogues as 'Zärtliche Schönheit'.
In Malmaison there was a 'Beauté Tendre', alias 'Elisa'. Gravereaux thinks it is a R. alba. Jäger writes: 'Beauté Tendre' (Alba) Vibert before 1825, flesh-coloured, 'Enfant de France', 'Elisa'.
The rose shown here, however, is not closely related to the 'Enfant de France' (Lartay 1860) registered today, but is more like the 'Great Maiden's Blush'.

'Burg Baden' (Kordes) R. kordesii-Seedling of Bruno Müller, Palmengarten, taken over and named by Kordes. Similar to R. kordesii, but colours brighter.
