From E.G. Hill catalog of 1889. It appears that attribution should be changed to Ritter/E.G. Hill; see both Hill's wholesale and retail catalogs of 1889. Ritter would be Herman Ritter, of Dayton, Ohio. It also seems as if the correct spelling for the rose is 'White Perle' rather than 'White Pearl'.

Second year own root royal jubilee has an amazing old rose and fruity scent .. scent wafts even in hot & dry at 90 F. Very fast repeat and healthy leaves. Many blooms to make it a highly scented landscape rose. A must for any fragrant garden.
