USDA zone 7b and warmer. Can be used for beds and borders, cut flower or garden. Spring Pruning: Remove old canes and dead or diseased wood and cut back canes that cross. In warmer climates, cut back the remaining canes by about one-third. In colder areas, you'll probably find you'll have to prune a little more than that. Resist the urge to prune this rose too heavily -- it doesn't like it!.
Breeder's notes:
Phototropic/Thermotropic Exhibition Hybrid Tea, a vigorous plant with dark green foliage. Easy to grow and excellent for the garden or exhibition. This rose usually has a red bud in cooler climates that turns russet in the center. Hardy but still requires winter protection in feezing climates.

O'Rilla won the Gold Certificate for Best New Seedling at the American Rose Society's 1989 National Conventioin held in Kansas City, MO and again at the 1995 National Convention held in Indianapolis, IN before being registered.

Notes:
Named after the mother of the Breeder
"Every now and then O'Rilla throws up an enormous cane with 6+ blooms on it. This one's about 7 feet tall on a plant that otherwise tops out at 4 feet. San Juan Capistrano, California -- Sept. 21, 2009"
I agree This fits the personality of her namesake perfectly.
