Took a few years to get established. After 5 years, my Danae gives a lovely a spring flush as any rose I grow. Like most Pembertons, does not care for our blazing summers and sulks after that spring flush. Does better in a semi-shady spot in areas with very hot summers. I have mine placed where it gets only AM sun.
Two of the three Eglantynes have gone to a great home. I have 5 plants of this rose's white sport on r. multiflora stock. No longer available from my yard.
