[From The Rose Garden, by William Paul, p. 278:] a sub-class of Hybrid Perpetuals [Ibid, p. 337:] These Roses are the offspring of crosses between the Noisette and Hybrid Perpetual; they are hardy and free, blooming late in the year. The individual flowers are of medium size and produced in clusters.
