Dwarf Polyantha Roses
Listed separately this season, for convenience sake, these true ever-blooming Roses, which bear their showy clusters of small flowers almost the whole year through, are most valuable for bedding, massing and edging where a continuous blaze of color is desired.
Chatillon (1923)  Bright pink and semi-double, with orange shadings.  Profuse bloomer in large trusses; mildew resistant.  ...  $1.00

Polyantha Roses
Polyanthas are, perhaps the most truly everblooming of all Roses, being scarcely ever out of flower during the whole growing season... They are especially valuable for massing, edging, and to some extent for mingling with other flowers.
Chatillon Rose. (A. Nonin, 1923.) Bright pink, semi-double blooms with an illuminating touch of orange. The color lasts well and is not unattractive when faded. The trusses are of gigantic size, and the plant is both healthy and hardy.
Splendid and absolutely good. Highly recommended for massing and borders. There is little doubt that this is really the most floriferous and the showiest of the lot for bedding uses. Steadily increasing in popularity.

Polyanthas.
Baby Chatillion. Dwarf Polyantha. (A. Nonin, 1923.) Bright pink, semi-double with touch of orange. The color lasts well but is not unattractive when faded. The trusses are large size, and the plant is both healthly [sic] and hardy.

Book  (1926)  Page(s) 54.

Chatillon (Nonin, 1923): the flowers are brilliant pink with an orange glow, and are borne in enormous clusters. They discolor badly with age, but in well-kept gardens the faded blooms are cut off at all times, so that doesn't matter. It is my choice of the light-pink Polyanthas for low masses.
Book  (1926)  Page(s) 56.

'La Marne' (Barbier & Co., 1915): clear light pink with a white centre, cupped, and very long-lasting. The clusters are so diffuse that it does not make the mass effect of Chatillon - neither is it so ugly when it begins to fade.
Website/Catalog  (1925)  Page(s) 25.

Chatillon Rose (Poly) (A. Nonin) The most beautiful polyantha; it gives enormous thyrses of semi-double flowers, large, and long keeping. 4/- each.
Summer colour rather hard, and fades.
Magazine  (Sep 1924)  Page(s) 111.
