Origin:
Bred by Reimer Kordes (1922-1997) (Germany, 1964).
Introduced by Unknown (Australia) in 1965 as 'Queen of Roses'.
Class:
Hybrid Tea.  
Bloom:
Orange - coral-red, cream reverse.  Mild fragrance.  50 petals.  Large, very full (41+ petals) bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  Ovoid buds.  
Habit:
Armed with thorns / prickles, bushy.  Glossy, bronze-green foliage.  

Height: up to 30" (up to 75cm).  
Growing:
USDA zone 7b and warmer.  Can be used for beds and borders, container rose, cut flower or garden.  Vigorous.  Spring Pruning: Remove old canes and dead or diseased wood and cut back canes that cross. In warmer climates, cut back the remaining canes by about one-third. In colder areas, you'll probably find you'll have to prune a little more than that.  Requires spring freeze protection (see glossary - Spring freeze protection) .  Can be grown in the ground or in a container (container requires winter protection).
