Notes:
The San Jose Heritage Rose Garden says a synonym for Daphne is 'Don de l'Amitie'. Vibert has listed 'Daphné', 'Eugénie' and 'Niobé' separately in his catalogue of 1820, so, they cannot be considered synonyms, contrary to F. Joyaux. 'Daphné' as a synonym of 'Nouveau Triomphe' as mentioned by Boitard and others, is based on a statement of Prévost, who was actually listing mislabeled roses he had received.
