Everything is EXCELLENT with this HT right from the color,fragrance,foliage,disease resistancy but ALAS!! in my garden at Durgapur,India the petals dose not open most of the time specially if the weather is not too sunny.. WHY??

Karan........

Many roses require heat to prompt them to open their blooms fully and show a tendency to ball where conditions are not right for the rose. The reason your rose doesn't fully open may be due to the fact that it is not getting enough sun or heat where it is sited in your garden.

I'm in Houston and this rose loves it.  Planted about a month ago and multiple blooms already.  I'll report back on new cane growth.

I love this rose. It really gets big in my area. (zone 9 Souther Calif.) It is over 9 feet right now. I would like to find a climber or shrub with the same colors.

Thank you, Barbara, for mentioning that it gets to 9 feet. I'm in CA zone 9 too. I'm planting more of these in January and thanks to you will put it in another location, where the height won't matter. Norma
