Bred by Alain Meilland (1940-....) (France, before 1993).
Introduced in France by Meilland et Cie in 1995 as 'Abbaye de Cluny'.
Class:
Hybrid Tea.   (Series: Romantica ™)  
Bloom:
Orange - apricot.  None to mild, spice fragrance.  26 to 50 petals.  Average diameter 4".  Large, full (26-40 petals), borne mostly solitary, cupped, globular bloom form.  Continuous (perpetual) bloom throughout the season.  
Habit:
Medium, bushy, upright.  Medium, semi-glossy, dark green foliage.  

Height: 30" to 39" (75 to 100cm).  
Growing:
USDA zone 7b and warmer.  Can be used for beds and borders, container rose, cut flower or garden.  Hardy.  vigorous.  Blooms tend to ball in wet weather.  prefers dry climates.  Disease susceptibility: very disease resistant.  Spring Pruning: Remove old canes and dead or diseased wood and cut back canes that cross. In warmer climates, cut back the remaining canes by about one-third. In colder areas, you'll probably find you'll have to prune a little more than that.  Requires spring freeze protection (see glossary - Spring freeze protection) .  Can be grown in the ground or in a container (container requires winter protection).
