Discovered by Unknown (before 1770).
Class:
Hybrid Villosa, Miscellaneous OGR.
Bloom:
Pink. Mild, apple fragrance. Average diameter 3.25". Semi-double (9-16 petals), cluster-flowered, in small clusters bloom form. Occasional repeat later in the season.
Habit:
Fragrant foliage.
Height: 5' to 9'10" (150 to 300cm). Width: 4' to 11½' (120 to 350cm).
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default). Shade tolerant.

Notes:
R. villosa var. duplex Weston ( before 1770), thought to be a hybrid of R. villosa and a tetraploid garden rose. See References.
