Bred by Ralph S. Moore (United States, 1977).
Introduced in United States by Sequoia Nursery, Moore Miniature Roses Historic Archive in 1977 as 'Calgold'.
Introduced in Australia by Roy H. Rumsey Pty. Ltd. in 1979 as 'Calgold'.
Class:
Miniature.  
Bloom:
Lemon-yellow.  Mild, rose fragrance.  20 to 25 petals.  Average diameter 1.5".  Large, double (17-25 petals), borne mostly solitary, cluster-flowered, in small clusters, cupped-to-flat bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  
Habit:
Short, bushy, compact, rounded, well-branched.  Semi-glossy, medium green foliage.  
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).  Can be used for beds and borders, container rose, cut flower or garden.  Hardy.  vigorous.  heat tolerant.
