Bloom:
Vermilion - crimson, yellow stamens, ages to cherry-red . Average diameter 1.75". Medium, single (4-8 petals), in large clusters bloom form. Spring or summer flush with scattered later bloom. Leafy sepals, long sepals buds.
Habit:
Armed with thorns / prickles, climbing. Medium green foliage. 7 leaflets.
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).
