A most charming and beautiful rose with an amazing fragrance. The bushes are free blooming and healthy. One thing I really like is that the bushes are compact and don't reach more than four feet high, as most English roses here in Oregon grow easily six to eight feet. This is a fabulous rose in all respects.

I grew this rose for 3 years before I removed it. The 3 plants I grew were very small, never growing more than 12 inches tall, and had few blooms. Those blooms were very beautiful and fragrant, so I pampered the plant like crazy, but it still stayed very small. The flowers were also smaller than I expected, about 2 inches in diameter, and did not drop when they faded, thus needing dead-heading.

I have had a plant of Fair Bianca in my garden for eight years now, and I can safely say I have never been tempted to pull it. The plant is quite disease-free for me. The flowers are pure white, absolutely charming, full of petals, last well as a cut flower and have the most amazing fragrance -- licorice, heliotrope and myrrh combined. The plant is only about a meter tall after all this time and repeats very quickly. In fact this past year it was almost in continuous bloom. There are many excellent white roses of similar size, but I'll keep my Fair Bianca, thank you.
