Du New-Jersey je pars pour West-Grove (Pensylvanie) où je vais répondre à l'aimable invitation de l'Ami PYLE, chez qui je passe deux journées ; ses établissements sont très importants.... Condessa de Sastago , la belle bicolore, Catalonia cet arbuste divergeant couvert de grandes fleurs rouge orange, Angels Mateu cette belle plante aux fleurs énormes vieux rose teinté d'orange, Luis Brinas au superbe coloris cuivré et Senora Gari réelle harmonie de forme et couleur abricot et bronze, élèvent bien haut le prestige des roses espagnoles.

Angels Mateu (Dot) is a very variable, coppery orange bloom of thirty petals making quite a new break in rose colour. Growth however, is only moderate.
