'Swedish Doll' rose Description

Orange-pink Miniature.
Registration name: Swedish Doll (Miniature, Moore, 1976)
Bloom:
Orange-pink, yellow stamens. None to mild fragrance. 22 to 26 petals. Average diameter 1.5". Very large, double (17-25 petals), borne mostly solitary, cluster-flowered, in small clusters, high-centered to flat, reflexed bloom form. Prolific, continuous (perpetual) bloom throughout the season. Medium, long sepals buds.
Habit:
Medium, bushy, compact, rounded, upright, well-branched. Medium, glossy, medium green, dense, leathery foliage.
Height: 1' to 14" (30 to 35cm).
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default). Can be used for beds and borders, container rose, cut flower or garden. Hardy. vigorous. Disease susceptibility: very disease resistant. Can be grown in the ground or in a container (container requires winter protection). Can be pruned to maintain a shorter habit.

Per Paul Barden, Swedish Doll can grow into a much larger plant than described in the plant patent:
Note: this is NOT a small plant! I cut mine back to 12" tall every winter and by September, it is a 5 by 5 foot shrub. So, plant it with those space requirements in mind. Certainly one of the sturdiest and most free-blooming of the Moore "minis".
