Origin:
Bred by Samuel Darragh (1932-2019) McGredy IV (1972).
Introduced in New Zealand by McGredy Roses International (New Zealand) as 'Benson & Hedges Gold'.
Class:
Hybrid Tea.  
Bloom:
Yellow blend.  Yellow, edged orange or coppery red.  Mild fragrance.  30 to 35 petals.  Small to medium, in small clusters bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  
Habit:
Bushy, compact.  Semi-glossy, medium green foliage.  

Height: 30" to 39" (75 to 100cm).  
Growing:
USDA zone 7b and warmer.  Spring Pruning: Remove old canes and dead or diseased wood and cut back canes that cross. In warmer climates, cut back the remaining canes by about one-third. In colder areas, you'll probably find you'll have to prune a little more than that.  Requires spring freeze protection (see glossary - Spring freeze protection) .
