'Ambridge Rose ®' rose Reviews & Comments

I love this rose beyond all others. It is simply exquisite! The myrrh fragrance is intoxicating, the blooms perfect, in my opinion!! I've had the bush several years now, and with each year it gets better and better. I have so many blooms right now! I live in So. Cal., and this rose is easily 6' tall.

You mean all three of me? There was an error: the first one I couldn't get uploaded.(it seemed so, because the comment page didn't disappear, after I clicked the continue-button) The second was no reply, but it was an edit from the first-one, after I posted the third. But it appeared as an other reply. The third was the only-one that went normal, and I presumed to be the only-one really posted.

The fragrance is licorice my ladies! When this plant is healthy, the blooms are throughout the bush!

Does this rose have an upright growth habit or does it have blooms at the base of the bush as well?

This lovely rose limped along for two years. Now, in its third year (in a large pot) it has been like a picture--beautiful shape, filled to the brim with this special, gentle rose. It has had three good, floriferous flushes so far and I never would have imagined it would take off like this. this was a good lesson in patience for me.
