This is a beautiful rose, but the blooms scorched in the heat this year (3+ week spell of 100 F, give or take a few degrees). This is the only rose in my garden that burned. There should be a spring bloom in 2013 and I'm hopeful there will be some nice blossoms.

Update, 2013: All blooms on this rose were heat-damaged again this year, so I can say fairly confidently that this rose would not be good for people living where temperatures exceed 90 or so on a regular basis. I'll give it one more year here just because I'm hoping to eventually see what these blooms can look like.

Dianne! Was going to message you privately that you need to make MORE COMMENTS on the varieties since you grow a very notable collection and then I randomly went to Jadis and now Jennifer Hart and there you are! I remember this one being released by Armstrong in the early 80's and yes, it IS named after Stefanie Powers' character on that tv show "Hart to Hart"..........when (!) we do a budwood exchange again this fall, this is on my list!

I used to grow 'Jennifer Hart'. It was a surprisingly good rose.
