Introduced in Australia by Edwin Smith, Clifton Nursery in 1885 as 'Duke of Teck'.
Class:
Hybrid Perpetual.  
Bloom:
Scarlet - crimson.  Moderate fragrance.  40 petals.  Medium to large, full (26-40 petals), borne mostly solitary, globular bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  
Habit:
Bushy, upright.  Large, glossy foliage.  

Height: up to 39" (up to 100cm).  
Growing:
USDA zone 3a through 3b.
