Wee Man McGredy 1974 ('Little Flirt' x 'Marlena') Scarlet. 4 reports, 4 years, Average height 18", N.R.S. Rating 7.2. Auckland report that growth is average, plenty of bloom, petals drop quickly, with blooms in large clusters, no disease: Manawatu say it is a delight in the garden, but falls down as there is never enough bloom and North Otago say the bush is healthy, takes a lot of dead heading.

E. F. Allen.  Awards To New Rose Seedlings In Great Britain In 1973
Wee Man ('Little Flirt' x 'Marlena'). This is a fascinating, robust miniature, by Sam McGredy, which I described last year as TG.No.2260. It was so healthy and promising in 1972 that I had ear-marked it for a Gold Medal but it succumbed suddenly to black spot a year later. In spite of this I can still recommend it for window-box cultivation in cities, where the industrial atmosphere should keep the foliage healthy.  Certificate of Merit.
