Bred by Samuel Davidson McGredy III (United Kingdom, 1931).
Introduced in Australia by Hazlewood Bros. Pty. Ltd. in 1932 as 'Portadown Sally'.

Hybrid Tea.  
Bloom:
Crimson to carmine-red, yellow shading, yellow undertones, light yellow reverse.  Reverse flecked carmine.  Moderate fragrance.  Medium, semi-double (9-16 petals), high-centered bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  Long, pointed buds.  
Habit:
Upright.  Glossy foliage.  
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).  Vigorous.
